P22-M road concreting project, inaugurated in San Teodoro

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – A P22 million road concreting project and a barangay hall were recently inaugurated by local officials from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and barangay councils in Brgy. Tacligan, San Teodoro.

Said projects were part of the 2022 congressional budget of former Congressman Paulino Salvador Leachon of the First District of Oriental Mindoro.

The newly inaugurated road will benefit citizens of said town, especially residents of Brgys. Tacligan and Lumangbayan.

Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Provincial Federation President Rhonalee E. Leachon and Barangay Chairman and ABC President Enrico Arellano led the ceremonial cutting of ribbon during the inauguration rites.

Brgy. Tacligan has a population of 2,527 people based on the 2020 census of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), which constitutes the 13.22% of the entire population of San Teodoro.  (LTC/PIA-OrMin)
