QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Authorities confiscated two plastic sachets containing 100 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P680,000, during a drug buy-bust operation inside a rental house in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque Cityin Parañaque City on Monday, September 11.
According to PMaj. Francis Aldrich Garcia, OIC of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU), they received information that the sale of illegal drugs is rampant in the said area.
“Based on our confidential informant, their area of operation is here in the South,” Garcia said.
After RDEU intelligence operatives posed as undercover buyers, they raided a room where the illegal transactions were made.
The four suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
The police reminded the barangays to work together to eradicate illegal drugs. (PIA-NCR)
