ANGELES CITY (PIA) — Clark is set for a major expansion with P77 billion worth of investments secured in 2024, boosting construction activities inside the Freeport Zone.
Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO Agnes Devanadera said these opportunities span industries, supporting both local businesses and foreign investors.
“The construction sector, with its multiplier effects, continues to play a vital role in reducing poverty and driving progress,” she said during the Philconstruct Luzon 2025 Business-to-Business Night.
With 60 to 70 percent of the pledged investments directed toward construction projects, Clark is expected to sustain long term infrastructure growth and strengthen its position as a premier investment hub in Central Luzon.
Additionally, Devanadera attributed Pampanga’s low poverty incidence of 2.9 percent to thriving industries, including construction and real estate, which generate jobs and business opportunities.
She also noted Clark’s growing tourism sector, citing its recognition as the region’s top tourist destination for two consecutive years.
With this, she invited businesses to explore opportunities within the Freeport Zone, assuring stakeholders of the CDC’s commitment to facilitate partnerships between investors, contractors, and business owners.
