QUEZON CITY (PIA) –The Department of Agriculture-National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (DA-NUPAP) turnover a greenhouse facility yo Philippine Army on September 13, 2023, at Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Director Gerald Glenn Panganiban, together with Col. Richard T. Ruffy GSC (QMS) PA represented by Col. Philip M. Fagel INF (MNSA) PA, and BGen. Moises M. Nayve Jr. PA represented by Col. Martin S. Daiz Jr. INF (GSC) PA, led the ceremonial planting, symbolizing the strengthened partnership between the two agencies and their shared commitment to national security and sustainable agriculture.
The initiative amplifies the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to support urban and peri-urban agriculture and community engagement toward achieving food accessibility, affordability, and security.
