MANILA, (PIA) — Pag-IBIG Fund showcased a strong commitment to community welfare by joining forces with various government agencies to support First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos’ “Lab for All program” at Mandaluyong College in Mandaluyong City on Monday, June 24.

Asserting Pag-IBIG’s inclusive values, Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta emphasized, “Our Lingkod Pag-IBIG mantra — ‘Tapat na Serbisyo, Mula sa Puso’ — does not discriminate against anyone. We are the Pag-IBIG that serves without prejudice.”

Our services and programs are designed for every Filipino worker, regardless of gender identity or socio-economic status. We aim to provide a love that is felt by all,” she added.

The collaborative effort aims to enhance the accessibility of social and medical services across the nation.

As part of its contribution to the initiative, Pag-IBIG Fund showcased its Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels (LPOW) to facilitate members with a range of services, including membership registration, cash loans, housing loan applications, issuance of Pag-IBIG Loyalty Plus cards, and resolution of membership inquiries.

Acosta underscored the organization’s dedication to ensuring members can readily access their programs and services, emphasizing the LPOW’s readiness for nationwide deployment and participation in forthcoming Lab for All endeavors.

Moreover, Acosta expressed solidarity with the LGBTQA+ community participants during the event commemorating Pride Month. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
