ISABELA CITY (PIA) – The Pag-IBIG Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) has officially inaugurated its new Members’ Service Office (MSO) in Isabela City, aiming to enhance access to its services for the residents of Basilan, particularly those in the city.
The new office is located on the second floor of the Cyberzone Building within the PCC Complex.
Evelyn Tindahan, Head of the Pag-IBIG Zamboanga Branch, expressed her enthusiasm during an interview about the new location.
We are happy to inform the public that the Pag-IBIG Fund Isabela is now open, especially to serve our clients in the whole province of Basilan, particularly those from Isabela City. Pag-IBIG is here to serve our members,” Tindahan said.
The newly opened office will offer a range of services, including membership registration for the Pag-IBIG Fund, which is mandated by Republic Act 9679 for universal coverage. Tindahan encouraged all residents, including business owners, barangay officials, self-employed individuals, and employees, to register and take advantage of the benefits the fund offers, emphasizing the importance of their contributions.

Additionally, Marlyn Anoos, Chief of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Isabela City Field Office, welcomed the opening of the new service office on behalf of the labor sector, noting its significance for workers in the province.
We are very happy to welcome the new Pag-IBIG Fund Members’ Service Office. This is part of the efforts of the Isabela City TIPC to support our employees and residents, especially Pag-IBIG members,” she stated.
According to Pag-IBIG Fund data, there are currently 1,272 paying employers and 2,663 contributing members in Basilan. The Pag-IBIG Home Development Mutual Fund is a government-owned and controlled corporation designed to assist Filipino workers through savings and home financing programs, helping address the housing needs of its members.
