PAGADIAN CITY (PIA) – Navigate your way to Zamboanga Peninsula as the 32nd Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon) is all set to take place in Pagadian City on August 23-25, 2023.
The biggest business event is expected to boost and expand business opportunities in ZamPen carrying this year’s theme “Pivoting to borderless business in Mindanao” aimed at addressing gaps and innovating business strategies in order to align with global market demands.
As the region slowly recovered from the unprecedented challenges in the business economy brought by the pandemic, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) through the Pagadian-ZDS Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (PZCCFI) takes pride in holding the 32nd MinBizCon in the region. The event will be co-hosted by the local government units of Pagadian City and Zamboanga del Sur.
With this year’s theme, the MinBizCon will focus on innovating business strategies and operations in order to adapt to new circumstances and to take advantage of emerging opportunities in a global and interconnected business arena.
The conference targets six different focus areas namely: transportation and logistics, information and communications technology, tourism, energy, agri-aqua, and good governance.
“Zampen aspires to be the sustainable agri-fishery industry in the Philippines so atoa gayud siya nga i-priority and we really have to push for this. Lu, the current president of PZCCFI said during her talk about the highlights and focus of this year’s conference.
The conference is expecting to hold around 600 delegates hailing from various corners of Mindanao, including its invited speakers and dignitaries. Parallel activities will also take place along with the forum such as trade fair and exhibits that will showcase Zampen and other adjacent provinces’ diverse products and services that aims to promote a wide investment opportunities across Mindanao and even in the entire country.
Meanwhile, Pagadian City and ZamboSur, the hosts of the event, will eventually have bigger opportunity to promote its products by fostering potential business collaborations and partnerships. This will also showcase the province’s immense potential in the tourism industry.
