PAGCOR provides relief aid to Marikina residents affected by heavy rains

PASIG CITY, (PIA) — Good news! The Philippine Gaming and Amusement Corporation (PAGCOR) immediately provided aid and sent relief goods to locals of Marikina City who were recently affected by incessant rains due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The state-run gaming firm turned over on Saturday, September 2, a total of ,000 relief packs, consisting of 3,000 food packs and 2,000 non-food packs.

The food packs contained rice, canned goods, coffee, and chocolate drinks.

Meanwhile, the non-food packs included blankets, mosquito nets, bath towels, slippers, and hygiene kits.
