ILIGAN CITY (PIA)–Kapin 300 nga myembro sa information and communication technologies (ICT) councils, national government agencies, academe, industrya, ug uban pang stakeholders sa tibuok nasod ang nitambong sa 15th National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) Summit.
Gipanguluhan kini sa NICP sa tabang sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ug sa city government sa Iligan.
Naestablish ang NICP niadtong 2008 sa Iligan City nga gipangunahan sa 10 ka ICT councils gikan sa Metro Clark, Legazpi, Quezon, Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iligan, ug General Santos. Mao kini ang national organization sa ICT councils sa tibuok nasod.
“We envision this summit as an opportunity not just for networking and knowledge sharing but as a catalyst for change. It is also an annual reminder for us to take a stand on how far we have come in fulfilling the promise to digitalize our country and the work that needs to be done to further deepen the collaboration of industry, civil society, academe, and government,” sumala ni DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy.
Samtang, gidayeg ni DICT Undersecretary for ICT Industry Development Jocelle Batapa-Sigue ang pagpaningkamot sa NICP sa pagpalapad sa ilang organisasyon nga nagsugod ra sa 10 ka ICT Council hangtod sa kapin 100 karon.
Sumala ni Mayor Frederick Siao, importante and pagtimbayayong sa nagkalain-laing sektor alang sa kalambuan.
“The 15th NICP Summit Iligan 2023 is a unique opportunity to set the stage for a more collaborative, innovative, and sustainable future. By fostering synergy among academia, government, and industry, we can overcome the challenges of today and shape the technological landscape of tomorrow,” matud ni Siao.

Matod ni Nur Fahad Dimacisil, ang nagrepresentar sa ICT Council sa Cotabato City, pangandoy nila na mahimong digital city ang ilang syudad aron makahatag ug mga trabaho ug uban pang oportunidad sa mga residente. Plano sab nila nga i-launch ang “super citizen” nga aplikasyon aron mas dali na maka-report sa mga insidente ang mga residente.
