ILIGAN CITY (PIA) — Isip kabahin sa selebrasyon sa 35th Civil Registration Month karong bulan, nag-organisar ang City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) og mga kalihokan aron ipromotar ang importansya sa civil registration ug magpataas ang kahibalo sa publiko bahin sa kamahinungdanon sa legal nga dokumentasyon.
Gisugdan ang selebrasyon nga may tema nga “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System,” pinaagi sa usa ka motorcade ug opening salvo sa City Public Plaza.
Adunay ipahigayon nga Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counseling session sa Pebrero 5, ug Mass Wedding (Kasalan ng Bayan) sa Robinsons Place Iligan sa Pebrero 14. Maghatag sab og libre nga late birth registration, transcriptions, ug certified copies sa civil documents, lakip ang “Problema sa Birth Certificate, Atong Sulbaron” nga programa pinaagi sa Mobile Civil Registration event sa Pebrero 20-21.
Gisiguro ni City Civil Registrar Yussif Don Justin Martil ang publiko nga ang ilang opisina andam motabang sa mga indibidwal nga adunay problema sa ilang birth certificate, lakip ang mga wala pa narehistro.
“Kung naa moy problema sa birth certificate, adto mo ana kay tabangan nato unsay pagsulbad ana. Willing mi mutabang kung asa mo narehistro, ato nang i-prepare ato dayon nang ipadala kung asa na na-rehistro,” sumala niya.
Samtang, gipasabot ni Philippine Statistics Authority Lanao del Norte Chief Statistical Specialist Osler Mejares ang kamahinungdanon sa civil registration sa pagsiguro sa legal nga identity ug access sa mga serbisyo sa gobyerno.
“These efforts reflect our commitment to making civil registration a meaningful service for all. As we continue to innovate and strengthen our system, let us keep in mind the three pillars that define this year’s theme. Our civil registration system must withstand challenges from natural disasters or pandemics and ensure the continuity of services,” sumala niya.
