During this morning’s press conference of Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro, she expressed that the government is thankful for the Senate Hearing regarding the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to Usec. Castro, it provided clarity to the public about what transpired, explaining the laws involved and distinguishing them from actions taken under those laws.
She assured the public that the government remains committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that due process is observed in all proceedings.
