QUEZON CITY, (PIA) – The local government of Parañaque fulfilled the longtime dream of 36 families in the city to have a lot that they can call their own.
On Monday, July 31, Mayor Eric Olivarez awarded these families the a Transfer of Certificate of Titles (TCTs), a proof of property ownership that will legalize their right to the land where their houses are built.
Out of the 36 families, three (3) reside in Perpetual Help Neighborhood Association in Sitio Libjo and Barangay Sto. Nino, while the two (2) of which came from BAMASIPAG Homeowners Association in Sitio GSIS and Barangay San Martin de Porres.
The rest of the awardees are said to be members of the Manggahan Kawayanan Homeowners in Barangay Marcelo Green.
Aside from the provision of TCTs, the local chief executive also announced that a total of nine (9) members of the Bagong Buhay Neighborhood Association were given Certificate of Full Payment, a proof that they were able to payy their property in full and they are now officially owners of a house and lot in Sitio Niño sa Barangay San Dionisio.
Mayor Olivarez extended his gratitude to the Local Housing Development Office under the directive of Engineer Oscar Fernandez and Karl Mendoza alongside other agencies who aided in the city government’s initiative to provide housing security for its residents. (PIA-NCR)
