QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez has invited residents and devotees to participate in welcoming the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, commonly known as the Black Nazarene, at the Parañaque City Sports Complex on Friday, September 13.
The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 10 a.m.
Olivarez encouraged attendees to join in a Holy Mass at 10:30 a.m., which will be officiated by Rev. Fr. Kevin Luther C. Crisostomo.
Following the Mass, the veneration of the Black Nazarene will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The mayor noted that believers who seek miracles and healing will have the opportunity to pray for their intentions during this time.
The event aims to foster community spirit and deepen the faith of devotees as they come together to honor the revered image. (GLG/PIA-NCR)
