PASIG CITY, (PIA) — Good news! Job opportunities await Pasigueños in the Mega Job Fair.
The City Government of Pasig, through the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) will hold a Mega Job Fair on March 21 (Friday), from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Doña Juana Covered Court, C. Raymundo Ave., Brgy. Rosario.
Some 30 local companies and five overseas manpower agencies will join the job fair.
Aside from the job fair, a one-stop shop will also be available for first-time job seekers who wish to avail of free services, like police clearance or register with BIR, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and SSS.
To avail of the free service, applicants are advised to bring the following:
- Birth Certification (RA 11261)
- Oath of Undertaking from the barangay stating the applicant as first-time jobseeker
- Any valid government ID or school ID (bring original and photocopy of the ID)
- Ballpen
Other government agencies like the Department of Migrant Workers, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will put up an inquiry desk to assist other job seekers.
Meanwhile, the Pasig City Skills Development Office (PSCDO) – Pasig City Institute of Science and Technology, a TESDA-accredited training center will also be present at the job fair to provide training to Pasigueños who wish to obtain a National Certification.
