Pasil LGU opens BOSS for business registration

PASIL, Kalinga (PIA) – – The Pasil local government unit opened   its Business One Stop Shop (BOSS)  to facilitate business registration.

Through BOSS, business owners can transact at the Municipal Treasury Office at Amdalao, Guina-ang and avail the needed permits in order to operate legally.

The following offices with regulatory powers are on site to process and issue the required permits, clearances and certificates: Department of Trade and Industry for the grant of Business Name Registration Certificate; Bureau of Internal Revenue for the issuance of Certificate of Registration; Bureau of Fire Protection on Fire Safety Inspection Certificate and the Municipal Health Office for sanitary permit.

The BOSS is a single common site or location or a single online website or portal designated for the Business Permit and Licensing System of an LGU to receive and process applications, receive payments, and issue approved licenses, clearances, permits or authorizations, as stated in Section 4 of Republic Act 11032, or the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.”

Business owners are also encouraged to register their business online by visiting this website . prod1.ebpls.com/pasilkalinga/index.php/login. The Treasury Office calls on yPasil local entrepreneurs to message this account for further assistance in registering business online.

The Anti-Red Tape Authority urged all local government units to fully implement BOSS for business registration and license renewal or they face formal investigation for non-compliance.

In a related development, Pasil LGU in 2022 under the administration of Mayor Alfredo Malannag Jr. was conferred the SEAL of Good Local Governance Award for remarkable performance across several areas.

The LGU also received six Certificates of Achievement and two Certificates of Commendation from the Bureau of Local Government Finance recognizing its exemplary achievement in income generation.

Pasil is Top 1 among all the 5th Class Municipalities in CAR based on the 2021 Collection Efficiency of Locally Sourced Revenues under Treasury Services and on Assessment Services; 1st LGU in CAR to complete the submission of the Treasury and Budget Office reports for FY 2021-2ndQuarter;   Top 3 among all municipalities in CAR based on the 2021 year-on-year growth in locally sourced revenues as well as  based on 2021 Collection Efficiency of Locally Sourced Revenues under Treasury Services and on Assessment Services.
