August 28, 2024 – Cebu, Philippines – Passerelles Numériques Philippines (PNPh) is proud to announce its 16th Anniversary celebration and the conclusion of the “ Buwan ng Wika” with a special Art Exhibition at Parkmall, Mandaue City.
The event will take place from August 29 to 31, 2024, on the second floor of Parkmall featuring a unique tribute to iconic Filipino Women in Information Communications and Technology (ICT). The digital exhibition is created by PNPh selected PNPh students.
This event is a significant moment for PNPh as it highlights not only its commitment to digital education but also its dedication to empowering underprivileged youth and their families by providing pathways out of poverty through technology and education.
The celebration will also serve as a platform to honor the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage, with a dress code of Filipiniana (traditional Filipino dress) to mark the end of National Language Month.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on August 29 at 1:30 PM with a formal program, which will be attended by multi-awarded Women in Technology who are showcased in the exhibit. The program will be followed by an exhibition tour where guests can view the students’ works, celebrating these iconic women who have made significant contributions to the ICT sector in the Philippines.
We extend a warm invitation to the public to join us from August 29 to 31 to meet our team and students, learn more about the PNPh program, and explore how our organization continues to make a difference in the lives of Filipino youth. This exhibition is a testament to the impact of digital education and the role of women in the ICT industry.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our event sponsors: Parkmall, Flarego, TrustArc, Datawords—who provided two months of training to our students on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator—PLDT Smart, and AFD, whose long-term support has been instrumental in sustaining our program.
