PBBM champions unity, cooperation among Filipinos amid modern-day challenges

MANILA — Amid modern-day challenges, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. championed unity and cooperation among Filipinos during the celebration of the country’s 126th Independence Day Anniversary.

“Sa pagharap natin sa mga hamon ng modernong panahon, nawa ay pagtitibayin natin, hindi lamang ang ating katapangan kundi pati narin ang ating pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan,” President Marcos said in his video message on Wednesday.

The President made the remark amid threats to the country’s peace and stability. He said Filipinos must protect the freedom their forefathers fought for a long time ago.

The President underscored how Filipinos can help in maintaining stability in the country in their own unique way. Gamitin natin ang ating dunong at sipag sa bawat gawain,” he said.

President Marcos said present-day Filipinos are the faces of a “Bagong Pilipinas,” a program that leads towards a future full of hope and opportunities for all.

Before concluding his message, President Marcos also emphasized the importance of dignity, patriotism, and humility in achieving the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ that all Filipinos deserve and should aspire for.

(PND)
