MANILA — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reiterated the administration’s commitment to bringing government services closer to Filipinos.
“Sa isang Bagong Pilipinas, lalo pang palalawakin at ilalapit sa taumbayan ang mga serbisyo ng pamahalaan. Walang pinipili sa pagtulong dahil ang bawat buhay ay mahalaga,” President Marcos said.
The President made these remarks in his latest vlog on Sunday, where he extended his gratitude to everyone who sent well wishes during his birthday on Sept. 13.
President Marcos said the government is working hard to ensure that all government services are available to all Filipinos.
“Maraming, maraming pangangailangan ang bawat isang Pilipino at ginagawa namin lahat …kahit papaano,” President Marcos said.
On his birthday, President Marcos ordered the Department of Health (DOH) to cover the costs of all inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services in 22 public hospitals nationwide through “Zero Billing.”
The President also extended various government services and financial assistance to farmers and fisherfolk. (PND)
