NABUNTURAN, Davao de Oro (PIA) — Gikondenar ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pagpamomba sa Mindanao State University (MSU) ug komunidad sa Marawi niadtong Domingo nga nakapatay sa upat ka tawo.
Mipasalig si Presidente Marcos nga ang gobyerno anaa sa ibabaw sa sitwasyon ug motabang sa mga biktima sa pag-atake sa terorista.
Mipaabot pud si Presidente sa iyang kasubo sa mga pamilya ug mga minahal sa kinabuhi sa mga biktima, nga nagbasol sa mga terorista sa likod sa pag-atake sa pagpamomba.
“I condemn in the strongest possible terms the senseless and most heinous acts perpetrated by foreign terrorists upon the Mindanao State University (MSU) and Marawi communities early this Sunday morning. Extremists who wield violence against the innocent will always be regarded as enemies to our society,” sa usa ka pahayag ni Presidente Marcos.
“I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the victims, their loved ones, and the communities that have been the target of this latest assault on peace. Government assistance to those impacted is ready and forthcoming,” dugang pa niya.
Sa inisyal nga mga taho nagkanayon nga upat ka tawo ang namatay sa insidente sa pagpamomba sa MSU, Marawi City niadtong Domingo samtang ubay-ubay ang naangol.
Ang hepe ehekutibo miingon nga ang gobyerno nakigtambayayong karon sa rehiyonal nga gobyerno sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) ug sa hingtungdan nga mga lokal nga panggamhanan alang sa ilang paspas nga pagtubag sa iyang gitawag nga “latest assault on peace.”
“I thank them for their swift and immediate response to the incident and for their ready support for the victims,” matud pa ni Marcos.
Gipasaligan usab ni Presidente Marcos ang publiko nga “dad-on sa hustisya ang mga naghimo niining walay hinungdan nga buhat.”
Ang Presidente mihatag sa iyang pasalig ngadto sa mga lumulupyo sa Marawi City nga ang mga lakang sa seguridad gipakusog sa tibuok kampus sa unibersidad ug sa kasikbit nga mga dapit.
“I have instructed the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to ensure the protection and safety of civilians and the security of affected and vulnerable communities,” matud pa sa Presidente.
“Additional security personnel are also being deployed,” dugang pa niya.
Ang Presidente nanawagan sa publiko nga magpabiling kalmado, ug mabinantayon aron masiguro nga ang “makalilisang nga mga panghitabo” dili dugangan pa sa dili tukma, wala masusi, ug dili opisyal.
Nanawagan usab ang Presidente sa publiko nga ipabilin ang mga biktima, ilang pamilya ug komunidad sa pag-ampo samtang nagkahiusa batok sa kapintasan ug ekstremismo. (PND/Translated by JSD/photo from PCO)
