LEGAZPI CITY, Albay (PIA) – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the release of salaries to 2,122 beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employments’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged / Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program during the simultaneous national launching of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair held at the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) Auditorium, in Nabua, Camarines Sur on September 23.
PBBM was joined by Labor Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma during the payout of TUPAD amounting to a total of P8.6 million to beneficiaries from the 3rd, 4th and 5th Districts of Camarines Sur.
Each beneficiary received a partial amount of P1,825 for their 5-day work.
They will be receiving another P1,825 after completing their 10-day work program.

Each beneficiary was also provided with personal protective equipment (PPE), GSIS insurance, and other supplies.
The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair hosted 75 programs and services from 29 government agencies. These include social services, livelihood and educational services, and other regulatory functions. It is targeted to benefit 120,000 residents.
The event gathered various programs and services from different national government agencies in one venue, including the delivery of several government assistance programs. (PIA5/DDC/DOLE5)
