QUEZON CITY (PIA) — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his satisfaction with the effort of Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero to invite former Vice President Leni Robredo to welcome him at the inauguration of the Sorsogon Sports Arena on Thursday, Oct. 17.
In his speech during the ceremonial signing of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program in Malacañang on Friday, the President briefly recalled his exchange of pleasantries with former VP Robredo, and told Escudero “Well done. I’m so happy you did that,” referring to the Sorsogon event on Thursday.
Escudero was the one who invited Robredo to welcome the President at the inauguration of the Sorsogon Sports Arena.

In a Facebook post, Escudero, former governor of Sorsogon, said he invited former VP Leni to represent the Bicolanos in welcoming President Marcos to the inauguration of the new Sorsogon Sports Arena. (PIA DMD)
