ILOILO CITY (PIA)—President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is expected to lead the distribution of e-titles and certificates of land ownership awards (CLOAs) to agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) on Panay Island during his visit to Passi City in Iloilo province today, September 19, 2024.

The President, under his administration’s “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign, continues to assure the welfare of farmers through the distribution of land ownership titles to qualified beneficiaries and providing the ARBs support to improve their living conditions.

Aside from the CLOA distribution, which was prepared by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Marcos will also spearhead the turnover of patient transport vehicles (PTVs) to different local government units (LGUs) in Iloilo.

A total of 51 ambulances will be distributed by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) under its Medical Transport Vehicle (MTV) Donation Program to boost the capabilities of LGUs to respond during medical emergency situations.

The MTV Donation Program also aims to improve healthcare access and provide “swift medical intervention, especially in vulnerable communities and geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

Other national government officials that are expected to join and assist the president in the event include PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles, DAR secretary Conrado M. Estrella III, and Presidential Communications Office (PCO) secretary Cesar B. Chavez. (AAL/JNH/PIA Iloilo)
