PBBM’s First 1,000 Days

Inspired by the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. toward a progressive Bagong Pilipinas, the #DHSUD works relentlessly in pursuit of the administration’s legacy programs in the housing and urban development sector.

Under the leadership of Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, DHSUD has recorded milestones in the implementation of two flagship programs of the administration—the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino or #4PH Program and the Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli or PBBM Project—sparking renewed hope for many Filipinos.

During the first 1,000 days of the President, the DHSUD and its key shelter agencies, namely, Pag-IBIG Fund, NHA, SHFC and NHMFC, have developed and constructed numerous modern condominium-type housing projects for underprivileged Filipinos throughout the country. In fact, initial turn over of units has started last year for beneficiaries of the Palayan City Township Project in Nueva Ecija. More are scheduled for delivery in the coming weeks.

With the PBBM Project, visitors are now enjoying the picturesque site in the Pasig River showcase area where a heritage corridor had been eatablished with the completion early this year of the Phase 3–connecting Manila Central Post Office to Plaza Mexico, Maestranza esplanade, Intramuros and the iconic Fort Santiago Riverfront.

More of these pro-poor and people-centered projects are currently in the pipeline as DHSUD commits to take an active role toward Bagong Pilipinas. Mabuhay!
