PCG delivers relief to families fleeing Bulusan blast

SORSOGON CITY, Sorsogon (PIA) — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) offered its resources to aid the families displaced by the Bulusan Volcano eruption on Monday and the following ashfall.

A PCG team led by Lt. Ronnie  Esparagoza, station commander for Sorsogon, donated at least 173 food packs and 30 gallons of water to the families from Barangay Lahong, Juban, who are displaced by the calamity.

These were immediately delivered to the Juban Municipal Hall.

 “We are committed to providing assistance for communities in times of crisis,” Esparagoza said.

 At alert Level 1, the Volcano is in low-level unrest with the possibility of phreatic eruptions. (PIA Bicol)
