During the event, Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil visited booths representing various PCO-attached agencies. This event provided a platform for government agencies to present their services, projects, and initiatives directly to the community, fostering engagement with the public.
The campus caravan also includes the rollout PCO’s Media and Information Literacy Campaign (MIL) project. It is aimed at being a key solution to countering misinformation and disinformation by educating the people in evaluating information sources to make them more discerning in consuming news and information and to be better equipped in identifying and avoiding false or misleading content.
This marks the kick-off of Campus Caravan, with numerous similar events planned to be held across the Philippines in the future.
