PDEA launches regulatory compliance system

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) –The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has officially launched an online platform designed to provide electronic processing, submission and issuance of licenses, accreditations and local order permit applications.

Called “Regulatory Compliance System” (RCS), the online-based system offers contactless and paperless transactions; and a fast, reliable and seamless delivery of service experience to PDEA applicants/clients.

Witnessed by several transacting stakeholders of the Agency, the official RCS launch was held on December 12, 2023 at the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City.

RCS ushers in a new era of shortened transaction time resulting in faster customer service. Since the system is nationwide-based, clients can apply online without going to PDEA offices where queues are no longer necessary, making the transactions paperless, fast, and efficient. Ultimately, the RCS addresses the main productivity issue of the long and tedious process of license and permit applications.

With the arrival of RCS, PDEA ensures its valued clients that they are only a few clicks away from experiencing a seamless journey of online transactions.

Present during the event were PDEA Director General Undersecretary Moro Virgilio Lazo; Undersecretary Earl Saavedra, Executive Director of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB); Assistant Secretary Israel Ephraim Dickson, Deputy Director General for Administration, together with other top-tier officials of PDEA.
