PDEA Mimaropa taps advocates for Barangay Drug Clearing Program

ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Mimaropa led by Director Cesario Castro has tap several advocates to be trained on their Barangay Drug Clearing Program, Advocacy and Drug-Free Workplace Program.

According to PDEA Mimaropa, the training, which was recently held in Romblon, Romblon,  aims to create a pool of knowledgeable and skilled advocates who can educate the community regarding the dangers of illegal drugs and the importance of preventing its use.

Experts from the Regional Barangay Drug Clearing Program Team, Preventive Education and Community Involvement Service, and PDEA Romblon spearheaded the activity.

A total of 20 participants actively participated during the lectures, group activities, and return demo before receiving their certificates of completion.

After the trainig, the participants will become part of PDEA’s force multipliers in the conduct of anti-illegal drug advocacy campaign in the province. (PJF/PIA Romblon)
