The Konsulta package includes free check-ups, health screenings, some laboratory exams, and selected medicines such as anti-microbial agents (fluids and electrolytes), anti-asthma medications, and anti-diabetic drugs. Engr. Labastida clarified that while the Konsulta package is available for free at any accredited public health facility, private facilities may charge small fees.
As part of their outreach efforts, PhilHealth conducts Konsulta caravans to inform the community of Zamboanga City and neighboring municipalities in Region 9 about the benefits of the Konsulta package. Engr. Labastida emphasized that the main objective of PhilHealth’s Konsulta package program is to provide high-quality and accessible healthcare to everyone and its members.
Everyone can avail of the Konsulta package. To benefit from the program, one must register with an accredited Konsulta provider,” Engr. Labastida added.
