CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Oriental Mindoro Provincial Office continues its Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) school mobile registration across various towns in Oriental Mindoro.
This initiative aims to facilitate the registration of students and teachers for the 2024-2025 school year, ensuring that more citizens can benefit from the national ID system, explained PSA Oriental Mindoro in its press release.
As part of the school campaign, PSA registration teams have been actively conducting school-based registration activities in all public schools throughout the province, with a particular focus on child development centers.
A total of 43,078 students and teachers have been successfully registered since the campaign’s inception in June 2022, the report revealed.
Also, a total of 2,316 ePhilIDs have already been issued to registrants across the city and municipalities of Oriental Mindoro.
According to PSA, the ongoing campaign is expected to bring numerous benefits, including easier access to various public services, enhanced financial inclusion, and improved delivery of government programs. (JJGS/PIA Oriental Mindoro)
