Defense Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana met with Cambodian Minister for National Defence, General Tea Bahn, at the sidelines of the Dialogue on June 11, 2022. The ministers discussed ASEAN matters and the upcoming 16th ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) in the same month. Commodore Ruben Fajardo Jr., Senior Military Assistant to the Secretary and Ms. Rachel Bacordo, Chief, Strategic Assessments Division (SAD) of the Office for Strategic Assessments and International Affairs (OSAIA) joined the Philippine side during the bilateral meeting.

The ministers also discussed the way forward for the ASEAN and mutually expressed that they are looking forward to see each other again soon in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
