MANILA, (PIA) — Katherine Chloe S. De Castro, Director-General of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected officers of the PIA Employees Association (PIAEA) following a successful election Thursday, with a 78.78% voters turnout from across the country.
In a message addressed to all PIA employees, De Castro praised the active participation of the workforce and the orderly conduct of the elections, highlighting the professionalism and commitment that characterize the agency’s staff.
“The PIAEA plays a vital role in advocating for the welfare of our employees,” De Castro said, assuring staff that management is dedicated to collaborating closely with the association to prioritize employee interests.

- Marinell Rosit (Secretary)
- Emmanuel Masongsong (Treasurer)
