The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Office of the Deputy Director-General for Regional Operations, in partnership with the Human Resource Development Division, conducted a Disaster Preparedness Training Course on November 20, 2024, to enhance the knowledge and skills of its Information Officers across the country.
This initiative is part of the agency’s commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness efforts by increasing public awareness and building community resilience against various hazards and their potential impacts.
Through this training, PIA reinforces its role in equipping communities with the knowledge and tools needed to respond effectively to emergencies.
