ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat (PIA)—The Philippine Information Agency and Sultan Kudarat’s provincial government are set to host a post-State of the Nation Address (post-SONA) forum on Thursday, September 26 at 1:00 p.m.
The event, initiated by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) through the PIA, aims to further highlight the successful programs under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. following his SONA in July.
Fryan Abkilan, regional head of PIA in Soccsksargen, cited the importance of ensuring that the public is well-informed about the government’s ongoing programs and projects, particularly in areas that are often underserved or overlooked.
Abkilan said, “The forum will provide a platform to present and discuss the administration’s accomplishments, challenges, and future plans, offering citizens a deeper understanding of government initiatives and their impact on the region.”
Over 2,000 participants, including local government officials, community leaders, and residents, are expected to join the forum following the “LAB For ALL” service caravan in the morning.
The Office of First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos organizes the “LAB For All” medical outreach program.
Key government officials, including Undersecretary Benjo Santos Benavidez of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Deputy Director General Felizardo Colambo of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Assistant Sec. Irene Dumlao of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), have confirmed their attendance.
They will respectively talk about the administration’s advancements and achievements in labor initiatives, education and skills training, and social welfare programs. (ORVR – PIA Sultan Kudarat)
