PIA VIII, EVSU forge new partnership to enhance information flow

TACLOBAN CITY (PIA) — The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Regional Office in Eastern Visayas and the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) have forged a partnership with the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which aims to develop the way accurate, timely, and relevant information is shared with the public.

By prioritizing impartiality and stringent data privacy standards, the MOU sets a new precedent for collaboration in the region, ensuring that the flow of information remains transparent and reliable.

In the said MOU, EVSU has agreed to provide PIA with timely and accurate information, designate a point of contact to facilitate communication, and grant reasonable access to university events and facilities for media coverage.

Additionally, EVSU will review and approve all media materials that feature the university’s logo or representatives before they are published.
