PLGU NV acquires mobile health bus from DOH

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) – The Provincial Local Government of Nueva Vizcaya has acquired a Mobile Health Facility to boost its campaign for primary health care.

The Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Primary Care Facility was given by the Department of Health under the LAB For All Program of  First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos geared towards improving public health infrastructure in the countryside.

The  Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Primary Care Facility  equipped with  digital x-ray machines, ultrasound equipment and other laboratory tools.

Governor Jose Gambito, along with Vice Governor Eufemia Dacayo, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and officials of the PLGU’s departments and divisions joined the blessing of the newly-acquired Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Primary Care Facility.

The mobile healthcare bus is expected to enhance the accessibility of health services for geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas in the province.

Governor Gambito said the province is honored and grateful for the assistance from the DOH,  First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos and President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.

“This is a big help for our health programs considering that most of our barangays are located in upland areas where this facility is mostly needed to bring health services closer to our villagers,” he said. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
