The event, held at the PNP Grandstand, was graced by Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr., of the Department of Agriculture, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. PNP Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, led the PNP delegation in this significant initiative aimed at promoting food accessibility and affordability among uniformed personnel and their families.

In his message, PGen Marbil emphasized the importance of strengthening food security within PNP communities and expressed gratitude to the DA for its commitment to supporting law enforcement personnel by providing direct access to fresh and affordable agricultural products through the KADIWA store program. “This initiative is more than just providing affordable food; it is about ensuring the well-being of our personnel and their families. We are grateful for this partnership with the DA, which reinforces our commitment to serving those who serve the nation,” he stated.

Secretary Tiu Laurel, Jr. underscored the significance of this collaboration in ensuring that quality food products reach the dedicated men and women of the PNP. He reaffirmed the DA’s unwavering support in advancing agricultural initiatives that benefit not only farmers but also the wider community, including uniformed personnel.

The event also featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the KADIWA store at Eagle’s Nest inside Camp Crame, followed by a photo opportunity with key officials and stakeholders from both agencies. The initiative is expected to expand across more PNP camps nationwide, further strengthening the government’s commitment to food security and sustainability.
