PNP Chief leads groundbreaking, inauguration of PRO-Cor buildings

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet (PIA) — Philippine National Police Chief PGen. Rodolfo Azurin, Jr.  led the inauguration an groundbreaking of  building  of the  Police Regional Office – Cordillera (PRO-Cor) at  Camp Bado Dangwa, here on  Thursday (Feb. 16).

The inauguration of the newly constructed Regional Forensic Unit building of PRO-Cor is  a testament to PNP’s  dedication in providing personnel with a comfortable and conducive working environment while providing more efficient and more effective police services, the Chief PNP said  as he  expressed his gratitude to those  who made the project possible.

“This is not just an evidence of the cooperation and teamwork of our police force but also because of the support of our partners in the government, private sector and the communities we serve,” Azurin expressed.

The Chief PNP also witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony of the Regional Intelligence Division and Regional Intelligence Unit 14 building. He said the soon-to-rise state of the art facility will provide the police intelligence personnel with the necessary tools and resources to conduct their work effectively and efficiently.

“I am confident that this building will significantly improve our capability to prevent and solve crimes in our region,” he said.

Azurin also led the groundbreaking ceremony of the new PRO-Cor Water System.

It is our duty to ensure that our police officers have access to the most basic needs such as water and well-equipped working environment and it is a significant event in fulfilling that responsibility, he said.
