TABUK CITY, Kalinga (PIA) – The Tabuk City Police Station (PNP-Tabuk) has set up Police Assistance Desks in key areas in the city as part of security measures for the summer vacation and Holy Week.

PNP-Tabuk chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Benson Macli-ing said Police Assistance Desks are up in Calanan, Block 3, KSU-Bulanao Campus, Lanna, San Juan, and Agbannawag for easier incident reporting.

“Tapno asideg dagiti pagreportan tayo nu adda insidente nga makita tayo, nangnangruna iti daytuy nga observance ti Holy Week,” said Macli-ing.

PNP-Tabuk is implementing ‘Oplan Ligtas SumVac 2025’ campaign and is on heightened alert to ensure  security of residents and travelers.

Macli-ing advised the public to take preventive measures against burglars, urging residents to secure their homes before leaving and to avoid posting real-time location updates on social media.

Revealing your location online will risk alerting ill-minded individuals that you’re not home, increasing your chance of being targeted,  he said.

“Sapay kuma ta agtitinnulong tayo tapno magun-ud tayo latta ti talna ken kapia iti ili tayo nga Tabuk,” he said. (JDP/IOS-PIA CAR, Kalinga)
