BAGUIO CITY (PIA) — The Professional Regulation Commission-Cordillera (PRC-CAR) targets to conduct the computer-based licensure examination (CBLE) in Baguio City by the first semester of 2025.
CBLE is the administration and conduct of various licensure examinations, which are fully computerized.
It seeks to further enhance the efficiency and integrity in the administration of the licensure examinations for competent and competitive professionals needed by the services sector in the country and overseas, according to the PRC.
PRC-CAR Regional Director Juanita Domogen said they have already prepared the equipment and supplies for the CBLE.
They are waiting for the venue that will undergo procurement processes.
“The computer-based licensure examination, igo-go na naming ito by first quarter or second quarter of 2025 depending on the procurement of our venue,” Domogen said.
Philip Pay-oen of PRC-CAR said that with the CBLE, examinees will get the result of their exams within the day of the examination.
“Within hours, puwedeng ma-release ang result. Isang purpose ng CBLE, sa mga magti-take ng units, malalaman nila ang result within the day,” Pay-oen said.
The professions that will be covered by the CBLE in Baguio City are sanitary engineers, certified plant mechanics, occupational therapists, physical therapists, librarians, psychologists, chemists, mining engineers, and x-ray technologists.
The PRC-CAR also reminded examinees to take note of the guidelines and advisories being forwarded to them as well as protocols to ensure the smooth flow of examinations. (DEG-PIA CAR)
