PRC expands services to remote areas with mobile outreach program

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato (PIA) — Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regional Director Rotelo B. Cabugsa highlighted the commission’s mobile outreach program, designed to serve professionals in rural areas in Soccsksargen.

“We are bringing PRC closer to the public, ‘yung mobile services na ‘yan, kung anong ma avail nila sa aming regional services, they can avail at the same time at that area,” Cabugsa stated.

He said the commission recognizes the need for PRC services in remote locations and has implemented mobile outreach to provide services such as ID renewal, initial registration, licensure examination applications, and certifications.

“’Yung mobile services naming depends on the requests of local government units, sometimes public or private. All they have to do is to write a letter informing us the schedule so that we can arrange it in our office,” he added.

LGUs and public or private organizations can request these mobile services by contacting PRC XII, Cabugsa further said.

PRC XII also collaborates with other national agencies and has recently assisted job seekers and registered professionals in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, and Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, at the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair.

It also participated in job fairs organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in General Santos City and Kidapawan City. (SZT – PIA Region 12)
