SUGBONGCOGON, Misamis Oriental (PIA)--Citizens of Barangay Silad and Brangay Mangga in the town of Sugbongcogon now have stable farm-to-market routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-10 completed its 668.5 meters access road connecting the two areas.
In line with the Duterte administration’s Build Build Build initiative, the road serves to bolster economic capabilities and logistical proficiency on the two barangay’s Coconut Industry, Copra Drying, and Oil Mill Facilities, among others.
Valuing around P14,854,652.12, the road also features an earth canal and cross drain feature to ensure safe travel in various weather conditions.
By bridging the two towns together and constructing safer routes for its economical development, the DPWH-10 hopes that the project becomes a catalyst in the holistic progress of both communities. (DPWH-10/PIA-10/Misamis Oriental)
