NAVAL, Biliran -– The completed widening of Gueron Bridge project in Brgy. Villa Consuelo, this town, now provides motorists along the Naval-Caibiran Cross Country Road (NCCCR) road section a wider, safer, and faster travel.
Implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Biliran District Engineering Office, the bridge widening project has an allocation amount of P24-M funded under Fiscal Year 2022.
OIC-District Engineer Alfredo L. Bollido said the widened bridge along the said road section will improve the transport of people and the mobility of goods and farm products to the market centers.
According to Bollido, aside from safety and comfort of the travelling public, this widened bridge will also help boost the economy and tourism in the province.
