LA TRINIDAD, Benguet (PIA) — The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) reshuffles leadership of various police offices in the region.
PRO-CAR Regional Director PBGen. David Peredo Jr. presided the joint turnover of offices ceremony at the Camp Major Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet, on December 23, 2024.
The ceremony formally marked the transition of leadership of the new provincial directors of Abra, Kalinga, and Ifugao Police Provincial Offices and the Chief of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD).
Former Ifugao PPO Director PCol. Marvin Diplat is now the Chief of the RIDMD. He replaced former Chief of the RIDMD PCol. James Mangili who is now assigned as the Provincial Director of Kalinga PPO.
Former Kalinga PPO Director PCol. Gilbert Fati-ig is now the Provincial Director of Abra PPO replacing former Abra PPO Director PCol. Jeremias Oyawon who has been assigned as the new Provincial Director of Ifugao PPO.
The ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Regional Director for Operations PCol. Elmer Ragay, Chief of Regional Staff PCol. Julio Lizardo, Chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division PCol. Jefferson Cariaga, and other PRO-CAR personnel.
The ceremony was highlighted with the symbolic transfer of command, accompanied by the turnover of property books, equipment inventories, and ongoing programs and activities to ensure a smooth operational transition and maintain the organization’s efficiency and readiness under the new leadership of the respective offices.
In his message, PBGen. Peredo emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, and commitment to serving the community with integrity and professionalism.
