QUEZON CITY (PIA) — Displaced workers seeking new employment opportunities will have another chance to land jobs as the Project DAPAT: A Special DOLE Action Plan & Transition Job Fair for Displaced IGL Workers returns for its fifth run. The event is set to take place today, February 28, at the Activity Center, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.
A total of 3,300 job vacancies will be available from 24 participating employers, offering positions in manufacturing, food service, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), hospitality and entertainment, Information Technology (IT), and more. This initiative is being organized in partnership with DOLE-NCR’s MUNTAPARLAS Field Office, the City Government of Parañaque’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Beyond job placements, the fair will provide one-stop-shop services to assist applicants in completing necessary pre-employment requirements, making the transition to new careers smoother and more efficient.
This initiative is particularly aimed at supporting workers displaced from Internet Gaming Licensees (IGLs), formerly known as Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs), ensuring they have access to alternative employment opportunities across Metro Manila.
Jobseekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and other necessary documents. To speed up the application process, they can also pre-register online through this link: https://tinyurl.com/ProjectDAPAT2025.
