BUCAY, Abra (PIA) –The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) continues to reach out to the different barangays in province to register more Abrenians under the Philippine Identification System or PhilSys National Identification Program.
More than 200 residents in barangays Calao, Bangbangcag, Palaquio, and Calao in Bucay were recently registered through the PSA mobile registration program that brings PhilSys enrollment to the doorsteps of Filipinos.
Maribel Bisnan, a resident of Nagpasinan, Bangbangcag in Bucay, Abra expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the recent visit of the PhilSys Mobile Registration team to their community.
“Dakkel talaga ti maitulong na daytoy serbisyo tatta ti PhilSys ta inyasideg da ti serbisyo da ditoy barangay mi, haan mi kailangan ti mapan idiay ili wenno centro iti Bangued ken makaiwas kami pay iti gastos,” she said.
Meanwhile, Christelyn B. Alvis, a resident of Nagbalitangan, Bangbangcag shared that the national ID enrollment is very helpful because it is difficult to acquire a valid ID at her young age of 8 years old.
“Dakkel ti maitulong na kanyami daytoy nga programa ta daytoy nga kaubing ko narigat ti mapan agala iti valid ID,” she said.
Alvis added that the mobile registration is convenient and accessible, especially to those who live far from town.
“Iso nga dakkel ti yaman ko ti mobile Philsys ta immay da ditoy barangay mi tapno met makaala kami ti valid ID pati dagiti padak nga ubing ken dagiti manakman,” she said.
The Mobile PhilSys Registration is a program that the PSA conducts to encourage more Abrenians, both children and adults, to register for the national ID.
The PhilSys mobilegegistration aims to empower residents by offering them the means to navigate through various administrative procedures with ease.
Said mobile registration hasalready visited other barangays in the municipalities of Lagangilang, Langiden, and Luba, among others.
The PhilSys ID serves as proof of identity and streamlines processes, making it more convenient for residents to avail of services and participate in various activities.
Those who have PhilSys IDs can also have access to government services, financial transactions, healthcare facilities, and other essential functions.
