The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Oriental Mindoro conducted Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Co-location with the Department of Social and Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) 4P’s beneficiary on 13-17, 20-24, and 27-29 November 2023 in the municipalities of Bulalacao, Pinamalayan and Bongabong, respectively.
The activity aims to capture registration of 4Ps members who were not able to register during Step 2 PhilSys mobile registration in their respective barangays. Likewise, it brings the services offered by PhilSys closer to Mindoreños.
The registration team set up a registration booth and assisted DSWD 4Ps beneficiaries regarding PhilID services including PhilSys Step 2 registration and checked the availability of ePhilID. Around 823 individuals were registered in the same day registration and 10 ePhilID were issued. The Registration Personnel also educated the people on how to authenticate PhilIDs/ePhilIDs using PhilSys Check.
As of 30 November 2023, a total of 702,162 individuals aged 5 years old and above were successfully registered in PhilSys in the province.
Presently, PSA Oriental Mindoro operates mobile registration in the municipalities of Baco, Naujan, Socorro, Pola, Pinamalayan, Bongabong, Mansalay, Bulalacao as well as in the City of Calapan.
