CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in collaboration with the City Government of Santiago, Isabela, recently conducted on-site registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
The PhilSys registration includes issuing national IDs in paper form and assisting individuals in downloading their digital national IDs.
Chief Statistical Specialist Julius Emperador reported that at least 14 registrants, mostly youth from the city, successfully registered for the national ID, capturing the necessary demographic and biometric information.
He mentioned that the PSA staff also addressed questions from registrants and advised them to verify their national ID status at https://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph/.
He also encouraged individuals to download their digital national ID using smartphones, tablets, and laptops at https://national-id.gov.ph/.
Emperador urged the public to like and follow the official PhilSys Facebook page and website, as these platforms provide valuable information and facilitate prompt inquiry resolution.
He also emphasized that the PSA Isabela Provincial Statistics Office remains committed to expanding National ID registration through on-site events across the province, having already conducted similar initiatives in several towns. (MGE/PIA Isabela)
