CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) – The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Service Office (PSA RSSO) Mimaropa announces the conduct of the January 2023 Inflation Report of the region via hybrid conferencing on February 13, 2023, at 1:00 PM onwards.
This will be done face-to-face at PSA Mimaropa Training Room in Calapan City and at the same time video conferencing using the zoom application.
According to PSA Mimaropa Regional Director Leni R. Rioflorido, the conference will also be live streamed on the PSA Mimaropa official Facebook page which is Philippine Statistics Authority RSSO Mimaropa.
Rioflorido said the inflation rate is the annual rate of change of the year-on-year change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), wherein CPI is an indicator of the change in the average prices of a fixed basket of goods and services commonly purchased by households relative to a base year.
Rioflorido will serve as a resource speaker together with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Mimaropa Regional Director Agustin C. Mendoza.
This will be participated by the following national government agencies of Mimaropa region that confirmed their attendance as of February 9, 2023: BFAR, BFP, BJMP, BLGF, CDA, CHED, COA, DA, DBM, DENR, DepEd, DICT, DILG, DOH, DOLE, DOST, DPWH, DTI, LTFRB, LTO, NCIP, NIA, NTC, OCD, PIA, Police Regional Office, and TESDA. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Lucena, LGUs, and local media from the five provinces of Mimaropa also confirmed their attendance at the conference.
