The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) Oriental Mindoro conducted a four-day onsite City Level Training on 2023 Community – Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Data Processing System at the City Museum, City Government of Calapan, Brgy. Guinobatan, Calapan City on 03 – 06 October 2023. The training was attended by five PSA PSO Oriental Mindoro personnel, 15 regular personnel from LGU Calapan City, 7 hired Map Data Processor, and 14 hired Data Processors. The training aims to capacitate the data and map data processors regarding the proper handling and processing of the CBMS collected data.
Ms. Herchie T. Davalos (Senior Statistical Specialist), Ms. Mary Joy H. Dudas (Statistical Specialist II), Mr. John Christopher B. Limbo (Information System Analyst I), and Ms. Shiela Jane M. Dudas (Information System Analyst I) of PSA Oriental Mindoro spearheaded the Data Processing training. To provide better understanding and appreciation of the tools and software presented, hands-on training and exercises were conducted.
The data processing will be conducted tentatively on 11 October 2023, with City Museum as the designated Data Processing Center. Data processing is done to ensure the highest quality of the collected CBMS data.
The PSA is committed to deliver relevant and reliable statistics. Hence, the agency encourages the public, especially the sample households and establishments to participate in the various censuses and surveys conducted by the PSA. The agency also assures that all collected personal information are processed in accordance with the law and other issuances.
