QUEZON CITY (PIA) — Quezon City has been awarded the Seal of Good Education Governance by the Synergeia Foundation, Inc. during the Synergeia Washington Sycip National Education Summit. This prestigious recognition is given to local government units (LGUs) that demonstrate exceptional leadership in providing quality and inclusive education to its residents.
Quezon City is one of only five cities nationwide to receive this distinction, underscoring its commitment to strengthening the local education system. The other four awardees are: Buldon, Maguindanao; Cabagan, Isabela; Lamitan City, Basilan; Quezon City; and Valenzuela City.
The Seal of Good Education Governance is awarded to LGUs that effectively manage and improve the delivery of basic education. It recognizes cities and municipalities where the local government and school boards work relentlessly to ensure that more children complete their education, literacy programs are effectively implemented, and no student is left behind.
The city government continues to invest in programs that support teachers, parents, and students to create a more effective and inclusive learning environment.
